Taking place every two years, the GlobalG.A.P. Summit is the perfect setting to discuss the latest developments in food safety and sustainability as well as Good Agriculture and Aquaculture Practices and the future of the industry. The GlobalG.A.P. Summit 2016 "The future of farm certification" " takes place in Amsterdam on the 27th and 28th of September and gathers all GlobalG.A.P members for discussions around the latest development in food safety and sustainability.
During this year’s summit, DNV GL is sponsoring a session on aquaculture. The session, “Innovations in aquaculture”, will discuss how the reproduction of certain species in some cases can overcome the “endangered” status, you will learn how the new consumer label for aquaculture is enhancing transparency for consumers, and get familiar with the new criteria in the GlobalG.A.P Aquaculture standard version 5.
Our own lead auditor, Kari-Anne Lenvik, will together with seafood producer representatives discuss the future of the aquaculture industry.
We hope you will join us for two days of networking in the heart of Europe, exploring the future of safe, sustainable farm production.
